Amale Andraos, cofounder of WORKac with Dan Wood, will discuss the adaptive reuse of Sibley Dome at Cornell AAP, from the first design ideas through construction. She will cover the challenges of working within a landmark, including the structural, acoustic, and preservation constraints that shaped the design. She will also share the unique details, material experiments, and decisions made along the way, and how the design and engineering teams worked together to bring the building to life.
Please be advised that seating is limited.
