A Conversation with Olympian Adrian Wildschutt

Lenoir-Rhyne students are invited to a special conversation with Adrian Wildschutt, Olympic distance runner and South African record holder, just days after he competes in the Chicago Marathon.

Wildschutt will be in Hickory as part of the John Hall Invitational track meet on Wednesday, Oct. 14, giving LR students a unique opportunity to hear directly from one of the world’s top distance runners.

Wildschutt will share his journey as an elite athlete, including the dedication, resilience and mindset required to compete at the highest level. He’ll also offer a firsthand look at his Chicago Marathon experience and talk about lessons from training and competition that apply to student-athletes across all sports.

Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from—and ask questions of—one of the world’s top distance runners.
