Diego Pascual y Cabo is an associate professor of Hispanic linguistics and director of the Spanish heritage language program at the University of Florida. His research explores Spanish heritage speaker bilingualism, language acquisition, identity, and the ways language attitudes can contribute to prejudice and inequality. Professor Cabo is also an NIU alumnus, having earned his M.A. in Spanish. Free pizza is provided. Please RSVP
