Come meet some of the extraordinary movers and shakers who traveled in the same elite, mid-19th-century intellectual and literary circles as Harriet. People like John Greenleaf Whittier, William Lloyd Garrison, Celia Thaxter, Wadsworth, Emerson, Louis Agassiz, Louisa May Alcott and SO many others. We’ll talk about these famous figures and the ways in which their lives intersected so closely with hers. Tea and home baked goodies will be served at noon. Talk starts at 12:15.
