🎶 Join the UTRGV Master Chorale and Brownsville Guitar Ensemble for an inspiring evening of choral music featuring talented student musicians from our School of Music! They will perform Kile Smith’s “The Dawn’s Early Light”, which sets text from Sarah Winnemucca Hopkins book “Life Among the Piutes: Their Wrongs and Claims”, which was the first published book by a Native American woman.
Music for solo voice and guitar will be sung by UTRGV voice faculty, and additional a capella music by J.S. Bach, Joselyn Hagen. Rodolfo Hafftler will ring in the beautiful acoustics of St. Eugene de Mazenod’s sanctuary.
