An Evening with Mira Nair

The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is honored to welcome acclaimed filmmaker Mira Nair to campus on November 12 for a lecture centering the craft of filmmaking, film’s capacity to challenge stereotypes and generational assumptions, and the issues she so passionately explores in her own filmmaking — the tug of competing worlds felt by millions of immigrants, and ways to bridge the gap between cultures, races, and genders.

The talk will be followed by an informal reception.
