Speakers
Erik Lin Greenberg, associate professor of political science; co-director, Wargaming Lab, MIT Security Studies Program
Erik Lin Greenberg's research examines how emerging military technology affects conflict dynamics and the regulation and use of force. His book, The Remote Revolution: Drones and Modern Statecraft (Cornell University Press), explores how remote warfighting technologies are reshaping international politics. In other ongoing projects, he explores how technology and public opinion influence international politics and decisions on the use of force. He is also interested in the international politics of food and the use of wargaming as a tool of scholarly inquiry. Before entering academia, he was an active duty officer in the United States Air Force and completed assignments in operational units, Headquarters Air Force, and the Joint Staff. He currently commands a squadron in the Air Force Reserve.
Gene Keselman, principal lecturer, technological innovation, entrepreneurship, and strategic management, MIT Sloan School
Gene Keselman has held leadership positions in a range of start-ups: he is the co-founder of ServDAO and formerly co-founder of Esports One and the Foundation for Innovation and Discovery (FINND), where he is now a board director. He sits on the Reagan Institute’s National Security Industrial Base Advisory Board, supports numerous startups as a board advisor and has also been a space and defense industry consultant. As a military officer in the Air Force Reserves, Colonel Keselman works as the senior Reservist and Director, Strategic Incubation & SSG Reserve Program for the Chief of Staff of the Air Force’s Strategic Studies Group (SSG).
