Being open about your emotions and mental health can be daunting while navigating the demands of college, especially if you were raised in a community where talking about mental health was stigmatized. Join us for a supportive environment where fellow Black students connect over our shared experiences and feel encouraged and empowered as we explore vulnerability, self-care, and community-care together.
Note: This is not a replacement for clinical mental health services.
SHARE Communities are weekly student-led groups where peers with similar interests, concerns, or wellness goals can find community and social connection that goes beyond surface-level. They are places to step away from the grind and let down the mask, where mutual support, imperfection, and “real” conversations are the expectation rather than the exception. We aim to give fellow students a place to be themselves and feel at home, where their resources and inner wisdom can directly benefit others going through similar struggles.
INTEREST FORM:https://utexas.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SVdnGrFaDZ6qvEVlY
Any UT student may submit an interest form and attend ANY open SHARE Community at ANY time of the semester. Submitting an interest form is not a commitment, just an introduction to connect you with our peer facilitators!
