DataSci+AI Forum

DataSci+AI Forum is HAIL’s annual get-together that packs a day of ideas, demos, and real conversations inspired by this year’s Server-Side Chats series. Expect a lively keynote to kick things off, a poster session where students and faculty share bite-sized research, and hands-on demo tables showcasing tools and projects from around Pitt. It’s the kind of event where you can overhear a new technique, ask a grad student about their pipeline, and leave with a contact who can actually help your next project. Whether you’re deep into modeling, building data infrastructure, or just curious about what people at Pitt are making with data and AI, there’s something for you. We’ll break for lunch (on us), and there will be plenty of time to wander, chat, and follow up with presenters. No heavy suits required—just bring your curiosity and maybe a business card or laptop if you want to demo. Come for the keynote, stay for the conversations; leave with ideas, collaborators, and a fuller inbox (in the best way).
