Explore the basics of generative AI and using backwards design to explore how AI might support your teaching and student learning.
AI is rapidly changing, but what do instructors really need to know? There’s a lot of pressure to incorporate AI into classwork, but is that right for your course?? If yes, where and how? If you have these questions, join us for an interactive workshop! Explore the basics of generative AI and using backwards design to consider whether, where, and how AI might support your teaching and student learning, with a special focus on the humanities.
What We’ll Explore
AI Basics for Educators
Explore what generative AI is, how it works, and what instructors should know about its capabilities and limitations, using examples from history and the humanities.
