FSU’s Department of Music, Theatre, and Dance to Host Tenor-Bass Sing! and Soprano-Alto Serenade Invitational Festivals
Frostburg State University’s Department of Music, Theatre, and Dance will host the ninth annual Tenor-Bass Sing! Invitational Festival on Monday, Oct. 19, on the FSU campus. This event, for middle- and high-school students who sing in the tenor or bass ranges, features a day of learning music together, camaraderie, a tour of campus and an evening concert. The concert, which will be held at 6 p.m. in the Pealer Recital Hall of FSU’s Woodward D. Pealer Performing Arts Center, is free and open to the public.
This year, the department inaugurates the first annual Soprano-Alto Serenade Invitational Festival, running concurrently with the Tenor-Bass Sing and matching its format and experiences for middle- and high-school students who sing in the soprano or alto ranges.
The Invitational Festival Choirs will be joined by guest artists FSU Troubadours Tenor-Bass Choir and Altissia Soprano-Alto Choir.
The Tenor-Bass Sing Invitational Registration Form can be found at bit.ly/TBSing. The Soprano-Alto Serenade Invitational Registration Form can be found at bit.ly/SASerenade. There is a $20 fee for each participant, which will be billed at a later time.
