PPPPP (please passionately paddle penobscot with papaya)

Passionately paddle and portage 27 miles down the East Branch of the Penobscot. We will canoe in the footprints(wake?) of hundreds of Penobscot people as well as Henry David

Thoreau through beautiful fall foliage and wildlife! The whole time, we will be

bordered by the beautiful mountains of Baxter State Park on either side. At low water levels,

the East Branch features Class I and Class II rapids as well as multiple portages (sometimes multiple each day!). Get hyped for a journey filled with laughter, good conversation and exciting paddling! Participants must have whitewater experience.
