Part of the Community of Practice (CoP)—Global Learning Across the Curriculum.

Led by Gayatri Mehta, Department of Electrical Engineering, and Jae Webb, Department of Management and in collaboration with the Office for Faculty Success and the LEEF Teaching Hub, this CoP will foster a collaborative network of faculty committed to integrating global perspectives into teaching and learning across disciplines. UNT faculty are invited to participate in the CoP to expand and enhance global learning opportunities within their courses, better preparing students for the increasingly interconnected North Texas workforce.

Through this CoP, participants will explore strategies for embedding global learning outcomes into course design, incorporating international and comparative perspectives, and leveraging pedagogical approaches that support students’ development of global competencies. By engaging faculty across disciplines, this initiative advances UNT’s commitment to ensuring that all students gain meaningful global learning experiences as part of their academic journey.
