Edmund Fitzgerald Presentation

In 1975, the largest freighter on the Great Lakes disappeared without a distress call during a massive storm. To this day, no one is quite sure how the Edmund Fitzgerald came to rest at the bottom of Lake Superior.

Join librarian Travis Souther on Wednesday, November 4, at 6 p.m. to explore the physics behind how nature’s perfect storm became indelibly ensconced in American maritime history.

The presentation is part of the Forces of Nature, Failures of Man Tech Library series. The event will be held at the UWF Tech Campus Library in the Student Government Association room.
