Cell and Molecular Biology (CMB) Research Showcase

CMB ANNUAL RESEARCH SHOWCASE ANNOUNCEMENT

Faculty and students in the Department of Cell and Molecular Biology (CMB) will hold their Annual Research Showcase on Wednesday October 28th from 4:30-7:30 pm in 010 CBLS and the lower atrium. All those interested in learning more about the department are encouraged to attend. Food and drink will be available for attendees. Current majors and department faculty will be available to answer questions.

This is an opportunity for students to:

-- learn about the degree programs offered through CMB (Biotechnology, Cell and Molecular Biology, Medical Laboratory Science) and research opportunities with CMB faculty

-- meet CMB faculty and learn more about their research interests

-- meet other like-minded students

-- hear from recent graduates of the program

-- talk with other students currently working in the laboratories of CMB faculty

-- hear new faculty research presentations

If you are a student at URI interested in learning more about the degree programs and getting involved in the cutting-edge research underway in the Department of Cell and Molecular Biology, or are already majoring in CMB, BTC, or MLS and want to get to know the faculty better, YOU SHOULD ATTEND!
