EveryBody Dances with Dareon Blowe

EveryBody Dances @ Yale Schwarzman Center brings local and visiting dance artists to our Dance Studio to teach masterclasses in jazz, hip hop, salsa, modern, contemporary, precision dance and more! All community members are welcome. This week's class will be led by Dareon Blowe. Class title: Contemporary Forms This class explores structured improvisation through sudden shifts in timing, direction, and texture, blending contemporary dynamics with hip hop influence. Dancers will engage with the residue of movement, allowing moments to settle before rupturing into the next. Rooted in cause and effect, the class invites freedom through form, playing with both literal and abstract concepts to challenge physical and imaginative boundaries. Doors open at 10:30am. We welcome people ages 15 and under when accompanied by an adult.
