State of the Coast (SOTC) is back Nov. 6–7 at Hatfield Marine Science Center in Newport!
This two-day conference brings together scientists, industry professionals, community leaders, policymakers and coastal residents to learn, connect and engage with the issues shaping Oregon’s marine environment. Attendees can hear from experts on current marine science and policy, take part in hands-on activities, and connect with people working across Oregon’s coast.
Built on a rich history, State of the Coast continues to grow and change anually. The conference moves to a different Oregon coastal community each year, creating opportunities to learn, share ideas and stay up to date on what’s happening along our coast.
Whether you work in marine science, industry, education, policy or simply care about Oregon’s coast, there’s a place for you at State of the Coast - it's Oregon's coastal conference for everyone!
SOTC takes place Friday evening and Saturday. More details are coming soon. The times currently listed for this event are approximate.
