Landscapes of Biology: Where Research Meets Communication
Downloads an .ics file · Times are in America/New_York · Google Calendar
Our panelists each worked in the field of biology, collecting data, making observations, communicating with peers, and extending outreach.
Each panelist worked in a different environment, cultivating a diversity of skills, whether it be in the lab or field. These skills included molecular genetic techniques, shore-bird species monitoring, mammal identification, and soil community composition analysis. Each panelist will share their summer experiences and future applications of their work, both within the field and in local and social contexts. From an interdisciplinary viewpoint, these panelists were able to experience biological research in different contexts.
