Dear Bentley Community,
We are excited to announce that Bentley University will celebrate International Education Week (IEW) from November 16–20, 2026!
International Education Week is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education that celebrates the benefits of international education and global exchange. Throughout the week, students, faculty, staff, and alumni will have opportunities to engage with diverse cultures, perspectives, and experiences through a variety of events and activities. Anchored in the themes of discovery, connection, and celebration, International Education Week is a chance to showcase the global richness of our community while fostering cross-cultural understanding and meaningful dialogue.
The planning committee welcomes proposals for programs and events that support these themes. We encourage you to consider how you might share international perspectives, experiences, cultures, or traditions with the Bentley community. If you are interested in participating and you would like support developing your idea, finding collaborators, or reserving space, please reach out to the planning committee. We would be happy to help bring your event to life.
Some ideas include:
Panel discussions Performances Workshops Games and interactive activities Coffee, tea, or food tastings Cultural demonstrations and showcases
To propose an event, please submit this proposal form by Friday, October 16.
Please note that funding for this initiative is limited. We encourage collaboration with student organizations, academic departments, and campus partners whenever possible.
We look forward to celebrating the many global perspectives and experiences that make Bentley such a vibrant community. We hope you'll join us in making International Education Week 2026 an engaging, inspiring, and memorable experience for all!
Sincerely,
The IEW Committee
