In From Concept to Screen: Building Films, Careers, and a Creative Studio, the team will share how projects move from an initial idea through production and post-production, while offering a behind-the-scenes look at the creative, technical, and business decisions involved in making films for today’s entertainment industry. The discussion will also explore emerging production technologies, building and managing creative teams, breaking into the film and animation industries, and what studios are looking for in the next generation of artists and filmmakers.

Students will gain a practical perspective on turning creative skills into professional careers—and on what it takes to transform an idea into a finished film.

There will also be a Meet & Greet with Boiling Point Media on Thursday, November 5 at 10am in the ATC Lobby (light refreshments provided).

About Boiling Point Media:

Ryan Bellgardt and Stephanie Bellgardt are accomplished filmmakers, visual effects artists, and animators with Boiling Point Media, an Oklahoma City-based creative studio specializing in film production, visual effects, CGI, animation, virtual production, and digital media. Ryan Bellgardt serves as a partner and Creative Director at Boiling Point Media, where he has helped expand the company from a traditional media and advertising agency into a nationally recognized film and visual-effects studio. A filmmaker, director, writer, producer, visual-effects artist, and voice actor, Ryan has spent more than a decade developing independent feature films and innovative production pipelines that combine cinematic storytelling with advanced digital technologies. His work has included projects such as Army of Frankensteins, Gremlin, The Jurassic Games, and The Jurassic Games: Extinction, while also advancing the studio's use of CGI, Unreal Engine, and virtual production technologies.

Stephanie Bellgardt is a Senior Animator and character artist at Boiling Point Media whose work focuses on character animation, CGI, and visual effects for film and digital productions. With an academic background in gaming and animation, Stephanie developed a particular passion for cinematic character animation and storytelling. Her work at Boiling Point has included the creation and animation of characters, creatures, and visual-effects elements for feature films and other media projects. She has also played a leadership role within the company's VFX team, contributing to an expanding body of work involving sophisticated digital characters, environments, and animation.

Together, Ryan and Stephanie represent the intersection of filmmaking, animation, visual effects, and emerging production technology that has become central to Boiling Point Media's creative identity. Their work demonstrates how independent studios can leverage technologies such as real-time rendering, virtual production, CGI, and advanced animation to produce ambitious cinematic experiences while helping strengthen Oklahoma's growing film and digital-media industry.
