2026 FIU Music Festival: Tony Succar & Dr. Pablo Gil present: A Latin Night with the Raíces Jazz Orchestra

GRAMMY® and Latin GRAMMY® Award winner and proud FIU alumnus Tony Succar returns to The Wertheim for a night created especially for the 2026 FIU Music Festival and The Wertheim’s 30th anniversary.

Tony Succar & Dr. Pablo Gil present: A Latin Night with the Raíces Jazz Orchestra brings together Succar and acclaimed composer and saxophonist Dr. Pablo Gil with the 20+ piece Raíces Jazz Orchestra for a high-energy evening of tropical rhythms, Latin big band sound and jazz.

Featuring special guest Mimy Succar and featured vocalists, the concert celebrates the music and rhythms of Latin America through bold arrangements, powerhouse musicianship and the energy of a full big band.

For Succar, the evening is also a homecoming. An FIU alumnus who studied jazz at the university, he returns for a one-night-only performance created especially for the place where his musical journey took shape.
