Kelly Cormier, Cold Case Coalition, comes to URI present in the Friday Forensic Science Partnership lecture series, examining DNA, Genealogy and the Future of Forensics. Cormier has helped solve approximately 70 unknown/unexpected parentage cases by leveraging autosomal DNA test results in coordination with traditional genealogical research. The lecture is free and open to the public (parking in Lot 13 behind the Beaupre Center after 3 p.m.).
