ML Tlachac, Assistant Professor of Data Science and AI at Bryant University, studies how people interact with AI and digital health technologies. Tlachac's research examines changing attitudes toward AI chatbots in education and potential bias in depression datasets collected through smartphones, wearables, and cameras. Tlachac's newer work brings these interests together through research on agentic AI and smart rings. Tlachac also teaches data mining and natural language processing and actively mentors undergraduate researchers.
