Tailspin tells the remarkable true story of Wisconsin native Eugene Moran, a B-17 Flying Fortress tail gunner whose bomber was shot down over Germany during World War II. Trapped inside the aircraft's severed tail section, Moran survived an incredible four-mile fall without a parachute. He went on to endure 17 months as a prisoner of war, including brutal POW camps and a 600-mile forced march across Europe.

After decades of rarely speaking about his experiences, Moran entrusted fellow Wisconsin native John Armbruster with sharing his extraordinary story of courage, resilience, and survival.

Following the presentation, attendees will have an opportunity to view a historical display featuring artifacts and newspaper headlines from Gene Moran's WWII experience. John will also have copies of Tailspin available for purchase and will be happy to sign books.

This event is free and open to the public.

We look forward to seeing you there!
