Join the UR Medicine Food Pantry at the Wegmans East Ave Grocery Run on Saturday, November 7. This event is a fun way to support our community and raise funds for the UR Medicine Food Pantry, marking UR Medicine’s 6th consecutive year of participation.
There are participation levels to suit any preference!
10K Run5K Run/Walk1K Run/WalkBoogie for Broccoli — a special race for kids to chase the Grocery Run mascot across the finish line!Not a runner? Walking is encouraged for the 5K and 1K events, so everyone can join in!
Last year, thanks to your support, we raised over $7,000—let’s beat that goal in 2026! The larger our team, the more funds our food pantry receives, as team size determines the share of donations from the general pool. Plus, all registration fees from our team go directly to the pantry.
In 2025, the pantry served over 3,000 patients. Nearly half of those served are under 18 or over 65, and we expect demand to grow in 2026.
