Curious about how supercomputers work?

Ever wanted to run your own mini supercomputer? In this hands-on IAP course, you’ll design and build a working supercomputing cluster using Raspberry Pi components. Learn how to:

Assemble and network your own Pi cluster

Install a supercomputing software stack and cluster management tools

Deploy scientific and data analysis applications

Run scaled-down versions of real high-performance computing workloads

Whether you’re into coding, systems, or scientific computing, this is your chance to explore the power behind supercomputers—on a scale you can hold in your hands!

Class is limited to 20 students so first come, first serve.

Dates: January 12, 13, 19, and 21, 2027 1PM-4PM
