New Perspectives on Midlife: A Pivotal Period in the Life Course

Please join us for the 2026 Yale Program on Aging Visiting Professor Annual Lecture, featuring Margie E. Lachman, Minnie and Harold Fierman Professor of Psychology and Director of the Lifespan Lab at Brandeis University. She is the author of Primetime: A New Vision for Midlife (2026, Simon Element/Simon & Schuster). She is also a co-investigator on Midlife in the United States (MIDUS), a large national longitudinal study that gives insight into the varied pathways to health and well-being and how lives unfold in the transitions into and out of the middle years.
