Good slides are clear, easy to follow, and work for everyone. This hands-on workshop covers tips for designing accessible and inclusive presentations in PowerPoint and Google Slides — including effective use of headings, color contrast, readable fonts, and visual descriptions. The session will also introduce built-in accessibility tools and features to help ensure all audiences, whether in person or online, can fully engage with your content.
This workshop is for staff who want to make their event and training slides more accessible, and for faculty who want to improve the accessibility of their classroom slides.

Kyle A. Carr, PhD, Senior Learning Experience Designer Date: Thursday, November 19, 2026, 12:00–1:30 PM
Location: Walsh Hall 131
