Library Esport Center Open Play Gaming Nights

The Lyman Beecher Brooks Library will be hosting video gaming nights for NSU students during the fall semester.

The gaming nights will be held every Wednesday from 7–9 p.m. and continue through November 18.

The event will take place in the Library’s Esports Center, which includes a gaming competition room and lounge. This venue is equipped with eight Alienware computers for both solo and team PC gaming. The Esports Center can also be used for console gaming by individuals and small groups.

To participate during gaming nights using the Alienware computers, you must reserve a seat and time through the Library’s Reserve Space webpage.

To participate in gaming nights using a console, you must reserve a seat and time through the Reserve Space webpage. And you must bring your own console (i.e., PS5, Switch, Xbox) to the event.

Please contact Cyanna Rodney-Hill, the Library’s Media Manager, if you have any questions about gaming nights or the reservation process. She can be reached at (757) 823-2418 or [email protected].
