Peter John Loewen, Harold Tanner Dean of Arts & Sciences welcomes former Ohio Governor John Kasich for a public conversation. During the moderated conversation, Governor Kasich will speak about how urban rural polarization can be bridged in the United States, drawing on his extensive experience and success as a governor of a state which exemplifies both thriving rural communities and dynamic urban centers.

The public are welcome to join this keynote presentation which is part of a closed academic workshop with leading scholars on the subject.

This workshop opens a year-long initiative of the College of Arts & Sciences, the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, and the Cornell Center on Democracy.
