Join the Los Angeles Canes for a Saturday morning hike through Griffith Park to one of L.A.’s most iconic landmarks, the Hollywood Sign! It’s a great chance to get outside, get some exercise, and connect with fellow Canes.
We’ll take on a moderate 5 mile out and back trail featuring approximately 1,100 feet of elevation gain. The trail is rarely steep, but there’s a steady incline for much of the way, so you’ll definitely get a workout! The trail is suitable for active beginners. No technical hiking experience is needed, but participants should be comfortable with the distance and elevation gain.
Because there is very little shade along the trail, please bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and a hat.
