Speaker: MVS Chandrashekhar, Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Morgan State University.
Abstract: High power/demand applications such as AI data centers, power grids, advanced electric vehicles, and consumer electronics, and their desire for high power/energy density current delivery systems has led to miniaturization of power electronic modules. In this talk, I will introduce a new substrate material, Scandium Diboride, developed by our team for high-quality semiconductor switches enabling continued shrinking of power systems.
