Intermediate HPC Hands-On Workshop

This workshop is designed to introduce experienced cluster users to more advanced concepts in high performance computing on Yale’s clusters: choosing the right compute resources getting your jobs scheduled sooner,analyzing and improving job performance,troubleshooting errors,making use of job arrays,and more.The workshop will include a presentation and practical exercises and will last about 2.5 hours. Prerequisites: A cluster account on one of Yale's clusters. If you do not currently have an account, please request an account before completing the registration. Working knowledge of Yale HPC clusters, including accessing the clusters, navigating a Linux interface via bash commands, and running interactive and batch jobs. The number of seats is limited. Registration is required. This is an in-person-only event; there will be no Zoom access. This training will be held at YCRC Auditorium at 160 St Ronan Street.
