We're coming to BUFFALO!
FRED Piano Day - for high school pianists and teachers
Event is free .. RSVP by Oct 15
Love piano? Thinking about studying music after high school? Have questions about performing, auditions, or possible careers in or around music? Spend the afternoon with us!
The afternoon will be casual and relaxed. This will be a time to meet other young pianists and talk all things piano. There will also be some live music, so let us know if you would like to be considered to play (we have a great piano!).
SUNY Fredonia piano faculty Sean Duggan and Eliran Avni will talk about:
Dealing with performance anxietyPreparing for college auditionsChoosing repertoireTechnical challengesStudying music after high schoolMusic education and other career pathsWhat it’s really like to pursue piano seriously…and anything else you want to ask!
No lectures, no pressure — just a chance to hang out, share ideas, and talk piano.
Questions? Email Dr. Avni ([email protected])
