The Drowsy Chaperone Music & Lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison Book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar When a die-hard musical theatre fan drops the needle on their favorite (fictional) cast recording, the characters leap off the vinyl and into the living room. A bride and groom on the eve of their wedding, a bumbling best man, two gangsters posing as pastry chefs, and one gloriously intoxicated chaperone collide in this delightfully chaotic musical farce. Winner of five Tony Awards including Best Book and Best Original Score, The Drowsy Chaperone is a loving and hilarious send-up of everything we adore about musicals. Featuring the BFA in Musical Theatre Senior Class.
