This play blends dark mystery, wit, and humor to adapt seven lesser-known fairy tales. Set in a basement that doubles as an enchanted forest, the framing story features a child and a frightening babysitter—an ogre with a tail (or tale). As the babysitter reads, characters from each dark story materialize, narrowly averting disaster before giving way to the next.
