Guest Artist, Yevgeny Kutik (violin) with Michael Gurt (piano)

Internationally recognized violinist Yevgeny Kutik and LSU faculty member Michael Gurt team up for an evening of chamber music that brings together expressive violin playing with the clarity, color, and depth of the piano. Kutik, known for his thoughtful interpretations of both classic and contemporary repertoire, joins Gurt, LSU’s Manship Distinguished Professor of Piano, for a recital centered on musical conversation and close collaboration. The performance offers audiences a chance to hear two accomplished artists in an intimate setting.
