There will be two exhibitions taking place, one in the East Gallery and one in the West Gallery. They will run September 28 – October 24, 2026. With a Reception: Friday, October 23, 2026, from 5:00–7:00 p.m.
TWU West Gallery
Distinguished Alumni Invitational Exhibition, will include a selection of distinguished alumni with artistic practice and professional accomplishments exemplifying the creativity, excellence, and impact that define our university community. We are honored to showcase their work as a source of inspiration for our students, alumni, and the broader public while celebrating the enduring legacy of the Visual Arts program. We have ultimately identified a group of sixteen distinguished alumni whose contributions reflect the breadth and vitality of our program.

TWU East Gallery
TWU Visual Arts Juried Alumni Exhibition, In celebration of Texas Woman’s University’s 125th Anniversary and its evolution from a teacher's college to the nation’s largest woman-focused university system, dedicated to cultivating engaged leaders and global citizens, the Division of Visual Arts presents an exhibition of distinguished alumni.

The exhibition will highlight TWU’s rich history while showcasing ongoing creativity and fostering meaningful, diverse dialogue among current students, alumni, and the broader community. We intend to showcase creative voices from emerging, mid-career, and established artists spanning various mediums such as sculpture, painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, mixed-media, fibers, video, and graphic design. The exhibition underscores the dynamic breadth of artistic inquiry and empowered expression that continues to shape and define the legacy of TWU's Visual Arts.
