Graduate Colloquium: Luis Mendoza "Introducing the Fermilab and NIU QST Master's Program"

Starting on Fall 2026, the new Master’s Specialization in Quantum Science and Technology was developed as a collaboration between Fermilab and NIU. As part of this program, we have developed two brand new courses: Introduction to Quantum Algorithms, and Introduction to Quantum Materials and Devices. The structure and objectives of these new courses will be presented. Alongside the discussion on these new courses, we will also showcase several potential research projects at Fermilab's main quantum facility, SQMS, that will be available to students in the new master's program.
