Western Maryland STEM Festival with keynote presentation by Steve Spangler

The Western Maryland STEM Festival, held annually at Frostburg State University, is a free, family-friendly event that brings science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to life through engaging, hands-on activities. The festival brings together local companies, community organizations, Frostburg State University departments, and student groups to provide interactive demonstrations and learning experiences for children and their families. This year’s festival will feature Steve Spangler as the keynote kickoff presenter on November 14, 2026, making it an exciting opportunity for families to experience STEM in a fun, welcoming, and interactive environment.
