Yale Wind Ensemble Inaugural Concert (formerly Yale Concert Band)

The newly renamed Yale Wind Ensemble (formerly Yale Concert Band), Thomas C. Duffy, music director, presents its inaugural concert, with a focus on two historic milestones. In 1946, white teaching at Yale, composer Paul Hindemith became a U.S. citizen. We combine our musical tribute this year to America's 250th birthday and the 80th year commemoration of Hindemith's embrace of the United States.
