FUNNY. FEARLESS. UNFORGETTABLE.

Mt. San Jacinto College Theatre proudly presents Stephen Adly Guirgis’ The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, a provocative, darkly funny courtroom drama that puts history’s most infamous betrayal on trial. Set in a courtroom somewhere between Heaven and Hell, Judas Iscariot’s fate is reconsidered as an unforgettable collection of witnesses takes the stand--including Satan, Pontius Pilate, Mother Teresa, Sigmund Freud, and Jesus himself. At times hilarious, outrageous, heartbreaking, and deeply moving, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot wrestles with some of humanity’s biggest questions: Can anyone be beyond forgiveness? Can we forgive ourselves? And what happens when guilt becomes its own kind of hell?

This bold MSJC production combines sharp comedy, powerful performances, and raw emotion in a theatrical experience that asks audiences to reconsider a story they thought they already knew. Whether you are religious, nonreligious, somewhere in between--or simply love great theatre--The Last Days of Judas Iscariot is ultimately less about religion than it is about what it means to be human.

Come for the trial. Stay for the arguments. Leave questioning everything.
