Tech Movie Night: WarGames

Join us for the fourth Tech Movie Night with the 1983 classic, WarGames. Following the discussion of the fourth chapter, "Catch the Rabbit," in Isaac Asimov's I, Robot, come and explore a young Matthew Broderick and Ally Sheedy who discover the dangerous cost of handing our most complex decision-making over to a computer. A young computer hacker who just wants to play what he thinks is a "game" called "Global Thermonuclear War" unwittingly launches a nuclear crisis where the consequences could be catastrophic for the entire world. A fast-paced thiller that will keep you on the edge of your seat, WarGames reminds us that war is not a game, and computers cannot be allowed to make the most important life and death decisions.
