Do you still do citations by hand? Invest an hour and a half of your academic career to learn how to utilize a free citation management program and save yourself countless hours in the future. In this workshop, we will demonstrate how to use Zotero to collect, save, and organize citations and create citations and bibliographies with just a few clicks. Zotero is compatible with Microsoft Word and Google Docs, allowing you to link your sources directly to your writing. With just a few additional clicks, you can easily modify the style of your bibliography. The workshop is tailored to accommodate beginners and those with some Zotero experience. Participants interested in attending Systematic Review workshops are encouraged to take this workshop first.

Please bring your laptop to the session. If you don’t have one, you can check one out at the Scholar Support Desk.

Please contact this QEP's instructor, Jonathan DaSo, if you have questions about workshop content.

Please arrive at the workshop at least 5 minutes before the start time. Please have your FSU Card ready for check-in. Check-in ends 10 minutes after the scheduled start time and late arrivals will not be admitted.

The Graduate Skills Workshop series is a collection of workshops developed in collaboration with the Graduate School and the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) to support graduate research and success.

Please note: The target audience for this workshop is graduate and doctoral students, but participants at all levels are welcome to join. To qualify for the Research and Creative Activity Travel Grant, only fully matriculated and admitted FSU students will be considered.
