WCC Volunteer Opportunity: Fall Day of Service Veterans Memorial Island Park

Waubonsee is inviting employees to join us for a day of service to help protect and beautify our local community! We’ll be working alongside community members to remove litter and debris along the Fox River, parks, and trails. This is a great opportunity to get outside, connect with colleagues, and make a visible difference in the communities Waubonsee serves. 📍 Volunteer Locations: Veterans Memorial Island Park Illinois Ave. Bridge, Aurora, IL 60506 Team A: Fox River Trail on the east side of the river down to RiverEdge Park Team B: Fox River Trail on the west side of the river down to North River Street Park Who can participate? Everyone is welcome! Students, staff, faculty, alumni, families, friends, businesses, community organizations, service groups, church groups, individuals, and scouts are encouraged to participate.
