Gene Peterson, conductor

The Frost Chorale presents an inspiring evening of choral artistry featuring the music of acclaimed composer and performer Shawn Kirchner, who will join as guest artist for this special performance. Known for his deeply expressive musical language and seamless blending of folk, classical, and spiritual traditions, Kirchner’s works invite both performers and audiences into a shared space of storytelling, reflection, and connection.

Under the direction of Dr. Matthew Brady and Dr. Gene Peterson the Frost Chorale will bring to life a program that highlights selections of Kirchner’s most compelling compositions woven into a tapestry of works that highlight the breadth of the choral landscape. Do not miss this rare opportunity to experience Kirchner’s compositions cultivated by the composer's interpretive influence!
