2026 RI-NEST Fall Meeting

Our Rhode Island NSF EPSCoR Fall Meeting will be held on Friday, October 30, 9am to 4:30pm.

At this convening, we will showcase the progress and programs of our six EPSCoR grants, spearheaded by the Rhode Island Network for Excellence in Science and Technology (RI-NEST), an $8 million initiative over four years that will strengthen research infrastructure and capacity in RI and position the state to develop transdisciplinary, use-inspired research. The day will include the following activities:

Interactive sessions on how to obtain continued investment, specifically from the U.S. National Science Foundation, in research and STEM-related activities for institutions and organizations across the state, as well as coordinate such activities more effectively. Opportunities to network with professionals of diverse expertise throughout Rhode Island's research ecosystemShowcases of EPSCoR-supported research from faculty and students, as well as programming organized by all of the EPSCoR grants in the state.

This event will be held at the Rhode Island School of Design's ProvWash building, 20 Washington Place, Providence. We encourage all faculty, students staff and leadership at our partner institutions to attend.
