Harry Underwood: The Design of Destiny
Downloads an .ics file · Times are in America/New_York · Google Calendar
Step into the dreamlike world of Harry Underwood, whose distinctive paintings combine mid-century imagery like palm trees, swimming pools, and roadside architecture, with handwritten reflections on life and human nature. Working primarily in latex paint, pencil and varnish on wood panels, Underwood creates scenes where nostalgia, humor, and philosophical reflection come together.
Join us October 8 from 4–7 p.m. for gallery hours and a special artist talk with Harry Underwood. After exploring the exhibition, stay for the launch of the Rialto Film Series at 7:30 p.m., featuring Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein. Film tickets are $7.
