Dr. Timm currently holds the Huff Eminent Scholar Chair at Auburn, where he has been on faculty since 2001. He is president of the Association of Asphalt Paving Technologists, past chair of the TRB Committee on Asphalt Pavement Design & Rehabilitation, and was elected ASCE Fellow in 2025.
