Ride to The Cheech

Meet us at Bannockburn Village at 11:50 AM to take the RTA Route 1 bus to The Cheech Museum in Downtown Riverside to check in. If you are new to the Riverside area or live on campus, these travel trainings are a great opportunity to navigate public transit, familiarize yourself with nearby ammenities, meet new people and get involved off campus. Free Transportation & Free Admission Everyone UCR associated can use their free RTA bus pass throughout Riverside County. The Cheech and Riverside Art Museum offers free admission on the first Sunday of the month from 12 PM to 5 PM. The Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art & Culture will be hosting the IE Zine Fest 26', a free event, live music, zine displays, vendors and free zine workshop from 1 PM-4 PM. We are happy to answer any questions about taking the bus, using the Transit Mobile App to track the bus in real time, and things to do in Downtown Riverside. We will be leaving UCR on RTA Route 1 at 12 PM from Bannockburn Village to Downtown Riverside.Once we arrive at the University & Lemon bus stop in downtown, we will walk to the bus stop where we will depart from to get back to campus. The bus will arrive at approx 12:20 PM.From there, we will head over to The Cheech. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to explore Downtown Riverside.Our group will be leaving Downtown Riverside at 2:25 PM. We will arrive back at Bannockburn Village at 2:50 PM Join our group!
